This Privacy Policy explains how the Faraid Calculator mobile application, the web calculator at app.faraid.net, and the content websites faraid.net and feraiz.net(together, “the Services”) handle information. The calculator does not require an account, and calculation inputs and results are designed to remain on your device or in your browser.
No account, no personal data required
You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the Services. All inheritance calculations you perform (the heirs you select, amounts you enter, and results) are processed locally. In the web calculator they remain in your browser; in the mobile apps they remain on your device. They are not sent to us as calculation records.
Browser and device preferences
The Services may store settings such as your language, selected madhhab and interface preferences in local browser or device storage. This lets the calculator remember your choices. You can remove web preferences by clearing site data in your browser.
Purchases and subscriptions
The mobile apps offer optional premium features that can be unlocked through an in-app purchase. Premium checkout is not currently available in the web calculator. Mobile purchases are handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play, and are managed through our payment provider RevenueCat. When you make a purchase, these services process transaction data (such as an anonymous purchase identifier and receipt) so that your purchase can be validated and restored. We never receive or store your credit card or full payment details.
Diagnostics and analytics
The mobile apps and app stores may process diagnostic information such as crash reports and basic usage statistics to keep the Services stable. Our hosting and security providers may also process standard request information, such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, to deliver and protect the websites. We do not use calculation inputs or results for advertising profiles.
Children’s privacy
The Services do not knowingly collect personal information from children. They are intended for a general audience interested in learning and calculating Islamic inheritance.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
