These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Faraid Calculator web calculator at app.faraid.net, its iOS and Android applications, and the websites faraid.net and feraiz.net(together, “the Services”). By accessing, downloading or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Educational use & no religious ruling
The Services are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Their calculations follow well-established principles of Islamic inheritance law (Faraid) across the four major schools. However, the results are not a fatwa or an official religious or legal ruling.
Always consult a qualified Islamic scholar and, where relevant, a licensed legal professional before acting on any calculation or distributing an estate.
Accuracy of results
Results depend entirely on the information you enter. Incorrect or incomplete input (such as the wrong heirs or amounts) will produce incorrect results. You are responsible for verifying that the data you provide is accurate and complete.
License to use the Services
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Services or their content except as permitted by law.
Purchases
The iOS and Android apps may offer optional paid features. Premium checkout is not currently available in the web calculator. Mobile purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their respective terms. Refunds and billing are handled by those platforms according to their policies.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Services or their calculations.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
